We gained a whole host of new impressions of the earth center, Jerusalem, where for thousands of years different religions and races are met concentrated and are fighting to each other. In former times and nowadays it is still the same. One spark and the cold peace with Egypt and Jordan will explode. Only the Jews have many persuasions and would kill each other if they weren´t surrounded by enemies who aren´t agreed and so Israel is still existing. A handful of orthodox Jews don´t accept the state of Israel but with their power and the court they show the way to the whole country. Nearly all leaders of the different religions are power-obsessed and are using the faith for the depression of people. These facts are already found in history. Actually Jews and Arabs are assimilated. But in our opinion it is presently the only state with so many ghettos. Around all the Palestinian towns in the Westbank you are finding high concrete walls with barbed wire and observation cameras. Here lives an unloved nation which reminds us to Australia with the Aborigines problems and their unknown future.
The historic center of Jerusalem is very well renovated and you need days to explore this town. Tel Aviv became an ultra modern city where are huge hotels. In the desert and the Dead Sea you find very good relaxation. Unbelievable, there are uncountable masses of tourists at every place.

Once again we had a flight without problems over the Mediterranean Sea. To file the flight plan took a lot of time and was annoying as only the third version was accepted. But it was strange because finally we had to fly a complete different routing according to ATC. For private flights it is getting more and more difficult to fly in the Eurocontrol airspace. They have the intention making it impossible.
Iraklion with its port and the fort is still very attractive. In the evening till late into the night it is very noisy. This is caused by a lot of traffic and many people. Who is having enough time should rent a car and explore the beautiful and eventful island.
40. Tirana, LATI - 10.04.2009 - 455 NM - 03:30
At flight level 120 we had an ambient temperature of -10°C and so we froze. The mountains with a height of 2000 m in Greece and Albania were thick covered by snow and ice.
Not a long time ago Albania had been separated and had a touch of communism. Due to rich funds it develops nowadays superb. Poverty is gone and the normal cars on Tirana´s streets are Mercedes. Why? – but it is like this and since April 2009 the country is a member of the NATO. Fast as the wind America takes military assets within Europe and has a new bastion more against Russia.
41. Bayreuth, EDQD - 11.04.2009 - 620 NM - 04:22
Perfect weather over the Alps with a strong tail wind and some short cuts saved us nearly one hour and we landed as planned after nearly 3 month on tour at our home airport Bayreuth. Spring is in Germany as well and with overwhelming delight we embraced our twin daughters Angela and Nathalie.
Aeronautically we don´t drop one tear to the visited countries within Africa and the others, too. Since our last flight tour 2003/2004 many things changed to disadvantage.
On this individual tour we had completely different experiences which were partly uncomely in comparison to a tourist who is booking over a travel agency.
